The man who started the "Go Corona Go" hit culture in India is now all set to start a new one. Amid the India-China face-off, the Union Minister, Ramdas Athawale has called for another proclamation.

Ramdas Athawale on Thursday requested to out a ban on Chinese products, including Chinese food and company's that serves Chinese dishes in India. The minister for Social Justice and Empowerment of India called for this step during the India-China clash.

India calls for boycotting the Chinese products in response to the destructive face-off between Indian and Chinese forces in eastern Ladakh's Galway valley on Monday night, which left 20 Indian soldiers dead. To this, Junior Minister said that the citizens could take to hurt China by boycotting Chinese food, apart from boycotting Chinese products.

He told news agency ANI, “ My suggestion is that restaurants and hotels that sell Chinese food should shut down. I also request those who eat Chinese food to stop eating them, boycott them."

After reading the tweet of ANI, "Restaurants selling Chinese food should be banned. I appeal to people to boycott Chinese food: Union Minister Ramdas Athawale”, the readers recalled his phenomenal trend against Coronavirus earlier in March.

In the aftermath of the violent face-off, many of the citizens have expressed their opinions about the ongoing situation. A large group of Twitter users used the hashtag #BoycottChineseProducts expressing severe anger.

Ramdas Athawale extended support to these hashtags, but he appealed the ban on something extremely famous in the Indian market. Athawale's demand for boycotting Chinese food did not result in making Twitter users happy. But his statement drew jokes and criticism on Twitter. While many of them were in support of what he stated, some said it was illogical; some gave hilarious reactions.
